@goehrigt @Sportsnet @kuklaskorner Xhekaj got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the 2nd intermission in game 2. So yeah, maybe the broadcast was biased, but so were the refs.

Unbelievable. MTL didn’t deserve absolute shit tonight and the hockey gods gave them not one but two absolutely insane bounces. Other than the obvious, goals, don’t really know what more you could have asked for from TBs performance tonight. Sometimes, you just get hockey’d.

@BoltsBreakdown @williamdube_ You guys are as soft as baby poo. Everything is a penalty in your view. Refs already gave you all the soft calls in this series. You embellish every contact now. Battling for position with a 5’9” 160 lb guy in the playoffs who merely sticks out his arm: 😭 tHaTs eLboWiNg 😭

@reignofhavok @PLG_01 @LNH_FR Habs had more penalties btw and killed off a 5on3. But yeah refs in our pocket. Might want to watch a different sport bud. Refs were bad both ways tonight but definitely didnt favor habs at all. Tampa has been favoured all series

If Kirby Dach remains in the lineup for tonight's game, what would be awesome, is for the home crowd to give him a huge ovation when he touches the puck, or if they annouce him in the starting lineup. Watch him respond. #GoHabsGo

@Jade_Tinka @Mappy6984 Or we can do what the woman did in this video and pick apart to what degree your “job” is actually “mentally draining” and use it to justify that you still aren’t “doing enough.” ie since your partner’s job is physical, you should massage his feet and back more.

@Mappy6984 My partner has a physically demanding job. I have a mentally draining job. Yet women do majority of the work at home. Their job stops when they go to bed & even then the brain is working over mental lists that have to still be done or things you forgot to do.

@Matthew70569619 @nhl_review He was great until the very end there. And honestly if he did that in the 1st or 2nd period I would have loved it. Anderson had been running at 38 and 86 all night. Take him out. JUST NOT THEN

@MitchBeaus @nicolefshirman Well, it works because the refs allow it to. One single scrum at the Tampa end in the first and Montreal gets the extra penalty. 10 scrums at the Montreal end, and it’s almost always “offsetting” penalties. Even so far as calling unsportsmanlike during the intermission.

@nicolefshirman Montreal needs to not get sucked into playing Tampas game. The problem is, like Florida they are so good at being greasy they drag you into it.

I may look very stupid but here goes DeFi is dead - the way it is today is going to lead to a slow bleed of TVL, loss of trust, and massive loss of capital from users There are no simple but effective safeguards for users. Hell, even some teams don't enforce basic rules when they have hundreds of millions of TVL. You don't have to give up decentralization to protect users I brainstormed a bit, most ideas are probably awful and not possible but hopefully can lead to smarter people coming up with better ones: TO PREVENT WALLET COMPROMISES — Idle mode: allows users to freeze their account for X period of time, to unfreeze requires a password/code/face or finger ID — Safeguards: when creating an account, allow user to select between fast/slow account, where fast means immediate withdrawals and slow means timelocked withdrawals. This would allow users to have Hot/Cold accounts individually like we have cold wallets and hot wallets. — Whitelist: user defines 1-3 addresses where funds can go to. Changing whitelist has a 72h timelock. This would mean that even if the wallet is exploited, the funds can only go to accounts the user added himself. — Limits: On Cold account mode, don't allow more than X% of funds to be withdrawn in a period smaller than 24-48 hours FOR DEFI PROTOCOLS — Transparency: Show Multisig/Timelock and other safety transparency details at all times in the page, through either a clickable popup or other way that works with the UI - projects should be proud to show their safety standards and by doing so, force unsafe ones to improve. — Oversight: Create a task force with FNDN oversight & members from each DeFi protocol with over $X00M TVL to create best practices and keep and open line of communication on ecosystem security. — Funds Flows: Have an easily accessible tab/dashboard/tooltip, where I can see where my money is going to: how many protocols, which ones, etc. I think Wallets also should provide a button in the main wallet page to revoke all permissions so that the user is motivated to do it often.

@CharmsSol @dalepartridge Don't get too attached to money. You can't take it with you or control what happens to it when you're gone. I want my tax money to go to the poor, widows, orphans, disabled people, the homeless, struggling veterans, etc. Not the rich. They don't need more money.

How long will it take to make Drift exploit users whole? $295M exploit, using 2026 annualized revenue ($3.4M) it would take ~86 years to recover the losses. using 2025 revenue ($20M) it would only take 15 years Im not exactly sure how much of tethers investment is directly going to users but assuming its $100M it would "only" take ~10 years This is under the premise that 100% of the revenue is used for recovery, the article only mentions "a substantial portion of revenue" Also how likely is Drift to receive the same usage as in 2025 after this exploit? This doesnt seem to be a very profitable buyout for Tether, imo its mostly a marketing expense for them. This deal includes that Drift switches from USDC to USDT, bringing more than 128,000 users and over 35 ecosystem teams onto USDT-based trading. This includes ecosystems such as Gauntlet, Neutral, and M1. Tether is spending $127.5M on this deal so roughly 1 week of revenue, seems like a decent price to push USDT adoption over USDC on solana. (there are probably also some other backroom agreements with solana foundation included in this that we dont know about) During 2025 USDT dominance on solana was barely around ~20%, this recently increased to ~30% and I expect this rate to grow after this deal. (On Ethereum USDT dominance is ~60% so it makes sense they are focusing on solana where the dominance is significantly lower than on mainnet. This is most likely the only reason why Tether is "bailing out" drift imo Also interesting: "to streamline distribution of recovery assets and provide liquidity for impacted users, Drift will issue a dedicated recovery token - separate from the DRIFT governance token - to each user impacted by the April 1 exploit. Each token is intended to represent a claim on the recovery pool and will be transferable." So we basically have another $LEO token but with revenue numbers looking this bad the token doesnt seem that interesting? Questions? - who is the unnamed partner providing the other $20M? - how much % exactly is going torwards the recovery fund - how long is this revenue going to users/when does it start going to tether? - backroom deals b/w tether & sol fnd?
