How I rebuild my watchlist every single weekend — the full process: 1/ Market first. Check the indexes: uptrend, under pressure, or correction? Distribution day count? This decides how aggressive the whole list gets to be. 3 of 4 stocks follow the market — start there. 2/ Screen for the raw material. Earnings growth 25%+, sales accelerating, RS line near highs. No exceptions for stocks you're "attached" to. The screen doesn't care about your feelings, which is exactly why it works. 3/ Chart pass. From the screen survivors, keep only proper bases: 6+ weeks of digestion, tightening ranges, volume drying up. 100 candidates usually becomes 10-15 real setups. 4/ Rank by relative strength. The stock holding up best while the market chops is the one institutions refuse to sell. That's your #1. 5/ Write the plan BEFORE the open. Entry, stop, size for every name. Monday-you making decisions at 9:31 is the worst trader in the building. Weekend-you is the best. Two hours, once a week. It replaces a hundred impulsive decisions with five prepared ones. Bookmark this for Saturday. 🔖

July's over. Weekend question: What was your biggest LESSON of the month — not your biggest win? 👇 The market charges tuition either way. Might as well keep the lesson.

Mega-cap earnings are done. One question left: did the generals hold? When $AAPL $MSFT $GOOGL $META $AMZN all report inside two weeks, the indexes deliver the verdict by Friday's close. Distribution days, new highs vs lows, leadership breadth — tonight's health check decides August's posture.

Kimi K3 ai model is SO GOOD the I feel anyone with large exposure to Open Ai could see that investment plummet. We will see companies de risk here in the next 6-7 months.

Mining Stocks Today
Mining Stocks Today@MiningStocksHQ·
Agnico Eagle reported Q2 2026 results yesterday. Here are the actual numbers, straight from the SEC filing. Net income: $1,600.5 million — up 49.8% year-over-year. Revenue: $3.80 billion — up 35% year-over-year, though it came in below the $3.89 billion consensus. Gold production: 855,816 ounces at an average realized price of $4,483 per ounce. For the first half of 2026: revenue climbed 49.6% to $7.90 billion. Net income advanced 75% to $3.30 billion. Net cash: $3,267.1 million. They also disclosed a rock mass movement at the Barnat pit — expected to reduce Canadian Malartic production by 60,000-80,000 ounces in H2 2026, and by up to 150,000 ounces annually in both 2027 and 2028. Record earnings. An operational setback disclosed in the same report. $AEM on NYSE and TSX.

Earnings season wisdom: the company and the stock are not the same thing. Great quarter + extended chart = sell the news. Good-enough quarter + tight base = breakout fuel. The chart decides. It always decides.

Fed decision: done. $MSFT and $META: reported. Tonight: $AAPL and $AMZN close out the biggest earnings week of the year. The story that matters isn't any single print — it's whether the leaders hold their bases through ALL of it. That verdict comes at tomorrow's close.

Today: Fed decision at 2pm. $MSFT and $META after the close. Rule for Fed days: the first move after 2pm is usually the trap. The move that sticks shows up after the dust settles — often not until the next session. Sit on your hands. Let the market pick its direction before you pick yours.

Nobody makes consistent money predicting the Fed. Plenty is made reacting to what the LEADERS do after the decision. Let the first move happen. Trade the second.

Monday's job was simple: which of Friday's moves confirmed? Confirmation isn't a green candle. It's holding the move on rising volume while the crowd looks elsewhere. Whatever confirmed today IS your watchlist for Fed week. Everything else is noise until Thursday.

This is the biggest week of the summer: • Fed decision Wednesday • $MSFT + $META Wednesday night • $AAPL + $AMZN Thursday night Four mega-caps and a Fed meeting inside 48 hours. Positioning beats prediction this week — size down, keep stops tight, let the chaos resolve before pressing.

The 7-8% rule: the most boring idea in trading, and the one that keeps you alive. O'Neil's math, spelled out: Lose 7% on a position, you need 7.5% to get back to even. Manageable. Lose 25%, you need 33%. Painful. Lose 50%, you need 100%. A different sport entirely. The asymmetry of losses is the whole argument. Small losses are recoverable by design; big losses require heroics. A system that caps every loss at 7-8% can be wrong repeatedly and survive — a system that "waits for it to come back" only has to be wrong once. Three practical rules that make it work: 1/ Set the stop BEFORE you enter. The moment you're in a position, you're the worst-qualified person alive to decide where it should be. 2/ Position size from the stop, not from conviction. Risk a fixed fraction of the account per trade and let the stop distance set the share count. 3/ Never widen a stop. Tighten, take partials, or get out — widening is just "waiting for it to come back" with extra steps. Defense wins this game. Bookmark for the next time a trade goes against you. 🔖

Weekend question: What's the single best trade you took this month — and did you follow your own rules on it, or get lucky? 👇 Honest answers only. The second half of that question is where the improvement lives.

Big news for autonomous science: the National Science Foundation has announced the awardees for its NSF Test Bed: Toward a Network of Programmable Cloud Laboratories. Ginkgo is proud to be partnering with several of the winning teams to help bring the program to life. Congratulations to all of the PCL Test Bed node awardees. Led by NSF's Directorate for Technology, Innovation and Partnerships, the PCL Test Bed is a national investment to build a network of AI-enabled, remotely accessible cloud labs that let researchers anywhere design, run, and analyze experiments. We're especially excited to be working alongside several of these nodes. We'll be highlighting our individual collaborations in the coming weeks as the program gets ready to kick off. $TSLA and $GOOGL report after the bell tonight. $INTC tomorrow. Three different stories, one common thread: the market has already voted on each of them — it's called the chart. Where each one sits relative to its base into the print tells you how much good news is priced in. Reaction analysis tomorrow morning.

Mid-week pulse check — the 3 numbers I look at every single day: 1. Distribution days on the indexes 2. New 52-week highs vs new lows 3. Which groups are making new relative strength highs This 5-minute health check has kept me out of every major drawdown. Most traders skip it because it's boring. That's exactly why it works.

Amateurs buy breakouts. Professionals buy breakouts from proper bases, on volume, in confirmed uptrends, with a pre-defined exit. Same trade. Completely different odds.
