Heads up: As part of the ongoing U.S. 17 and Main Road improvements, River Rd. is scheduled to close between Brownswood Rd. and Main Rd. beginning Friday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. so crews can replace an existing culvert located near the intersection.

The closure is expected through May, with overall project completion slated for late Summer 2026. The intersections of Hollings Rd. at Fleming Rd. & Hollings Rd. at Riverland Dr. will be remain open. Residents within the closure limits will retain access throughout construction.

Hollings Road will close to traffic between Daniel Whaley Rd. and Parkland Preserve Ln. beginning Mon., March 16, as crews install upgraded drainage infrastructure to deliver critical flood relief to the area, which is heavily impacted by high tides and heavy rainfall.
