@haleyywheeler False. Dogs leave all the time. My dumbass dog that I had for 10 years ran away at the beach and was missing for 3 days. This is just flat out incorrect and overly emotional.

My dad asked me why I bought a dog knowing how much work they are while I’m still in college and I didn’t really know how to put into words why and started tearing up, and so my mom says “because a dog won’t leave.” And yup. That was it.
