@CornellNFL I think if Coen got the job we would still be the same team. We lack ton of talent on defense and until we bring in a dominant edge rusher or dominant corner I don’t see anything changing.

I think it’s hilarious when people compare Liam Coen to Dirk Koetter. Liam Coen has brought the most unique dynamic offense the Bucs have ever had.

Final Thoughts: This game against the Panthers was very disappointing coming off that Giants win. Way too many penalties. Questionable coaching decisions. Baker had some awful decisions. They are lucky to come out with a win. I’m tired of mediocre. Todd Bowles screams mediocre. They can make the playoffs with Bowles but they won’t win it all with his coaching decisions. This team has so much talent on defense that we are not taking advantage of. The entire defensive coaching staff needs to be rebuilt.

If Liam Coen does indeed succeed Todd Bowles I would not be surprised if he interviewed Mark Stoops for a role on defense. Coached with Stoops last year at Kentucky. Lotta ball left to even think about this but I’m in a dark place 😂

@CornellNFL Also we don’t have the talent on defense. We have no pash rush and our defense can’t cover for anything. Coaching could be an issue but lack of actual good talent in defense is an issue by the front office.

Buccaneers rank 4th in PPG. Avg 28.5 PPG. Rank 6th in yards per play. Third in 3rd down conversion percentage. Liam Coen is not the problem.

@CornellNFL Bro it’s his first year as an OC and you think he should be a HC right away chill out. We’ve seen many other proven OC stay as an OC because they don’t know what they can do as an HC. I feel like honestly if he was promoted it would be a Koetter situation.

@SaltyBuc91 I don’t think it’s coaching tbh. It’s more of the fact we don’t have as good as players as we think we do. Our Pass Rush is garbrage and secondary can’t guard for anything.

I’m so sick of losing games because of self inflicted mistakes. At what point is coaching held accountable?

@CornellNFL I think I’m all honestly Bucky should be the main back and White be the Pass catching back. He had his opportunity last year and didn’t change the run game. Give the rook a chance!

Monken would call plays as the HC. He would bring long term stability to the offensive side of the ball. You won’t have to worry about losing your OC after good years like what happened with Canales. It’s the right move for long term success.
