As Christians, we have become really good at lip service when it comes to loving people. Lip service isn’t loving people. Loving people means laying down your life- your time, your gifts, your resources, your interests- for the glory of God and the good of others.

Don’t mistake following a pastor for following Jesus. You’re responsible for walking in the footsteps of Jesus, not your pastor.
