Congratulations Karen Hammell, one of our @MayoAnesRes program coordinators, on receiving the Fellows' Fellow Award. This award recognizes a nonphysician member who has gone above and beyond to provide support and assistance to residents and fellows.

Hospitals in multiple states I’ve visited this week are all at a breaking point, due to the current RSV/ Flu/ Covid syndemic. They literally have no beds left for transfers for heart attacks, strokes, kidney failure, etc. Please consider your flu shot and your covid booster! 🙏🏽

Flu data out today. Holy crap.

@ChaseSimsMD @JeromeAdamsMD Mask do not work. Stop being a toadie to the CDC, the AMA and Pfizer and follow the science. Masks do not work, the vax is a danger to everyone and Ivermectin is an effective treatment.

@cangmatt5 @JeromeAdamsMD Yes, not blanket masking policies but masking when you’re sick, cases are high at certain times, or people are in high exposure areas like malls, etc.

My youngest watching Twilight: “Who names their kid Renesme? What were they thinking in the 80s?!” Me: “Woah, it’s not that old, only the early 2000s.” He followed with… “that’s old.”

@JoShapiro3 As educators we are vested in the psychological safety of our trainees. People who gravitate towards negative behaviors push the threshold of micro aggressions. What hierarchy of response have you found effective at stopping micro aggressive behavior? @MayoAnesRes

There is a hierarchy of responsibility, not a hierarchy of respect. All members of the health care team should be shown the same level of respect and appreciation as the next regardless of seniority. A wonderful presentation by @JoShapiro3 @SEAnesHQ
