This is true if Mahomes wasn’t coming off an ACL. Also, the defense is going to be really young (and cheap) on the backend, you’ve proven you can’t draft RBs, and you need dynamic playmakers desperately. Whiffing on the RB next year is not an option. You pay for certainty.

@GBpickem It just feels like he’s made every wrong move. I’m not saying running a pro sports league, especially one as star dependent as the NBA, is easy. But it certainly isn’t as hard as he’s made it look. Some of these decisions are, forgive my pun, layups. And he’s botched them all.

@GBpickem He’s easily the worst commissioner in pro sports. Everyone loves to shit on Goodell but compared to Silver he’s done a tremendous job. Even Manfred has improved baseball with the pitch clock. The NBA is actively worse under Silver than Stern.

BUT, as some of us said 2 weeks ago (and got yelled at by myopic Pats fans), the real Super Bowl was the NFCCG.
Seahawks & Rams were 2 best teams all year, and it wasn’t that close.
