@LEVEL5_times I also find it pretty damn interesting that the company who's been using generative AI in their work in recent years is complaining others are infringing on copyright. Real funny, guys.

@LEVEL5_times Man, I sure do wonder why people in the west are choosing unorthodox methods of playing and obtaining these games! It's almost like a number of titles, including Yo-Kai Watch 4 and the Switch port of Yo-Kai Watch 1 haven't been localized and others are not officially obtainable.

We're so bored we're baiting by going after RetroAchievements now. To take it, uh... Fuck it, I'm a worm for playing some games this way and being over the moon about having been able to contribute to a set. Back into the dirt I go!

Constantly rewriting it because of character limits probably messed up my point a bit, now that I think about it, but essentially, uhhh. Gatekeeping bad and the issue is essentially nonexistent here. Sonic isn't a franchise where you have easy access to a lot of older titles.

The problems with a majority of modern emulation lie in very minor faults unnoticeable to the average player, especially on big titles. The initial point is to be as accurate as possible to the original experience. Everything else is an addition. The emulator's not at fault here.
