@hutchinson having an argument in the telegram… have you looked at the USGA estimated scoring for nine hole rounds? Do players tend to regress to the mean after a good front nine? Or is “average nine hole score” a fairly decent guess?

It is truly amazing how quickly people will latch onto information that is consistent with their worldview, and reject anything that is not. Confirmation bias is a helluva drug.

Great golf courses can have bad logos, but it’s very hard to have a logo gain mass prominence without being a great golf course. Makes me wonder if there are absolutely lit golf course logos they represent garbage golf courses, so we don’t know them. A great logo is unique and simple, and presents a great golf course.

What makes a great golf course logo, in your opinion? I've been thinking about this, and here's my rubric: Not heavy on letters and words (if your logo is a wordmark, forget it) Animals and/or trees plus something tend to be great A play or a local landmark or history rules

In an all time golf gear low… I ordered those spikes you screw in to normal golf shoes… Haven’t found a pair of 13 6e golf shoes yet, so we are converting a pair of new balance into golf shoes.
