@JohntheLib Wear a silly hat that's still functional for hiking. Or sunglasses. A weird color bag? Just a small signal to say "my ego isn't super fragile, there for I won't kill you in the woods if you don't return my polite smile."

As a regular solo hiker, I have no clue how to make my body language non-threatening in these situations. I usually just try to keep a few feet of distance, and either politely wave and smile, or keep stiff with my head locked forward like I'm on a mission down the trail.

I don't think this is exactly right. My guess is that a lot of AI art will be similar to what has happened in the clothing industry: technology speeds up production, benefitting consumers. Only enthusiasts will care if something is made by hand or not. Will give examples. 🧵

Piecing more plant-dyed snippets together this weekend. A methodical calming process. Plant colours here include meadowsweet, gorse, (yellows) madder (pink, orange), indigo (blues) and the darkest panels are a combo of oak gall, logwood and iron.
