@Roadman_Podcast « Lanterne Rouge does something nobody else does as well — they treat professional cycling like a sport with explainable tactics, not just a spectacle. » Did you write this ? I mean what is cycling if not a sport with explainable tactics ?

Anthony Walsh | Roadman Podcast
There are now over 200 active cycling podcasts in 2026. Most of them aren't worth your time. I spent the last year listening to all of them so you don't have to. Some are brilliant. Some used to be brilliant and have lost the plot. Some are niche enough that they'll change the way you train if you find them. Here's the honest ranking — 15 shows worth your ears, broken into six categories: training, racing, nutrition, culture, gravel, and daily news. Yes, ours is on the list. And where another show beats us at something specific, I tell you which one and why. roadmancycling.com/blog/best-cycl…

@MilanOlisar @laflammerouge16 Of course it has already started. At great expenses. But it’s all good. Now it needs time. In all fairness, where Demi could really make a difference is by advocating for fairer pay amongst riders. While she’s earning millions, some of her fellow riders struggle to survive.

@ChassePatate51 @laflammerouge16 Do you know what public media means and what is their role?Dont play this cheap game, that you know every data, views etc. This process is very dynamic and it takes time to change things, because sponzors momentum etc. But it has already started and people should support this.

Vollering: "Now we finish after the men, but the broadcast is shorter. It shouldn't be difficult, though. Use two sets and alternate a bit between the two. Once Pogacar is away from the men, you know what's going to happen anyway" #LBL26 #LBLWomen

@Cyclingbottle @laflammerouge16 Out of those, how many were men viewers who first and foremost watched the men’s race? How many were just here to watch the women?

@ChassePatate51 @laflammerouge16 The women's Tour of Flanders had 900 000 viewers, about 1 million for the men's race. In the Netherlands there has been a year that the women's Cyclocross Worlds has been watched more than the men's race. Some TDFF stages had more viewers than some TDF stages in France

@MilanOlisar @laflammerouge16 So in your expert opinion, why do you think that is? Is it down to a strong desire to make women cycling invisible OR an attempt to put more eyes on them?

@R_one1182 @laflammerouge16 Like it or not… She gets it by being broadcasted after the men’s race by virtue of people hanging around. Proof is that in France viewing figures for PR this year were up 50% vs last year with different programming.

@Cyclingbottle @laflammerouge16 You have the stats to back that claim? I work in (specialist) cycling media. Agreeable to differences in certain countries but our numbers consistently show a 90-10 (or more) split in countries like Belgium, NL, Spain, France, Germany, UK, Italy…

@ChassePatate51 @laflammerouge16 Not necessarily. In multiple countries, the viewership of men & women's cycling became pretty close, and occasionally women's cycling is even able to attract more viewers on some days. We are not in 2010 or even 2019 anymore

@Domestique___ @zachnehr @TrainingPeaks Edit: « the greatest estimated four minute effort ever ». If you can’t actually measure it and validate actual numbers, then you can’t make statements about « best ever ». But if you do that then you’re not really a serious publication.

Controversial take: I have absolutely no problem with 19-year-old Seixas, who doesn't know his ceiling, riding with Pogačar. Paul Seixas is not scared of Tadej Pogačar. Let's find out if he should be. 🤷
