Did you capture the solar eclipse yesterday?? 🌘🌑🌒 Congratulations to all who did! 👏👏
Alpha Ambassador Allison Anderson captured these with her Sony Alpha 1 + 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 G Master, which was a pleasant surprise for her. She says, “I woke up this morning without any real expectations of capturing the solar eclipse. The skies were mostly gray and the forecast called for thunderstorms. But I set up my tripod anyway, and minutes before totality, the sky opened up.”
Let this be your reminder — It’s always worth a shot to try and get the shot!
Especially if it’s the last chance for 20 years! ✨

I've sold about $10k worth of EXCESS camera gear in the past couple of months that I don't need. I hate when gear just sits there and collects dust, so I'm glad they went to people that really needed.
Fun fact: most of us creators really don't need much to create good content.
“There are icebergs drifting past us, giant snowy mountains and whales everywhere. Welcome to Antarctica.”

@beckiandchris Yep. Every time I have the video roughly framed out I'm like "I just need to lay the color grade and add text overlays and balance the audio and make the thumbnail and that's gonna take me like an hour max" *still editing 3 days later*
SAY NO. saying yes is so much easier. NO is always hard, always a shit feeling to let someone down. time is fleeting, prioritize your focus.
as always, @RyanHoliday says it better.
