The offseason is off and running. 🤼 Eleven current and future Trojans competed at the ISWA Folkstyle State Finals this weekend in Columbus. 6th - Isaac Bustamante (16U, 144) 8th - Pete Rushenberg (14U, 175) We got better this weekend. 🙌

JACK DAVIS IS HIM‼️ Two takedowns in the final 25 seconds to stun No. 3 Will Vander Luitgaren with a 6-5 decision for 3rd place, the highest state finish by a Trojan since 1975! Jack ends his prep career with a record of 149-22, three state appearances and two state medals. 👏

Jack loses a hard-fought 8-4 decision to Bradley. Davis’ last match as a Trojan will be for 3rd place against Center Grove senior Will Vander Luitgaren. The final session starts at 4:30 p.m.

Three Trojans have punched their tickets to semi-state! Jack Davis (157) took first place with two pins and a 5-0 decision in the finals. Rex Reynolds (138) and Jaxson Washburn (215) each took fourth place after earning pins in the first round.

Rafa Hadad (120) and Maddox Dwyer (HWT) earned bronze, and John Schaffner (144) and Oliver Welsh (150) snuck through with fourth place finishes.

The Trojans are sending 9️⃣ wrestlers to regionals! Jack Davis (157) and Jaxson Washburn (215) brought home sectional championships, and Tristan McSherry (113), Jack Howay (126), and Rex Reynolds (138) each took second place.

The Trojans had two conferences champions this weekend — Rex Reynolds (138) and Jack Davis (157). Bishop Chatard also won duals over Brebeuf Jesuit and Guerin Catholic!
