@SadiqKhan Private renting works two ways. There needs to be strong regulation to keep tenants secure but landlords can’t foot the bill for everything. The costs need to be shared, without private landlords then where would the majority of Londons working population live?

Private renting in London needs to change and over two-thirds of Londoners support rent control. The 2.4m Londoners that rent deserve a fundamentally different approach to renting privately.
