Recognised alongside iconic projects like Atal Sethu Trans Harbour Link and Dhamra-Angul Natural Gas Pipeline, this award celebrates our team's outstanding achievements. Our Krishnapatnam project ensures uninterrupted fuel supply to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while also providing critical support during refinery shutdowns. Additionally, it has generated significant employment opportunities, contributing to the region's economic growth. To further enhance our infrastructure, we're investing ₹1,925 crore in additional tankages at the terminal and a 425 kilometre long, 4.4 million metric tonnes per annum capacity, multi-product petroleum pipeline connecting it to Malkapur near Hyderabad. This strategic project will boost product availability in AP and Telangana. We are pleased to announce that the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of and dedicated to the nation nine major BPCL projects worth Rs 9,800 Crore today from Begusarai, Bihar. The following projects, which have been completed, were dedicated to the nation: 1. POL Coastal Installation at Krishnapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 2. KHT Unit at Mumbai Refinery 3. Lube Oil Base Stock Production Enhancement at Mumbai Refinery 4. POL Terminal & Railway Siding at Pune The foundation stone of the following projects were laid: 1. POL Depot at Gulbarga, Karnataka 2. City Gas Distribution in Fazilka, Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh districts 3. POL & LOBS Installations with Receipt Pipelines at Rasayani 4. Lube Oil Blending and Filling Plant at Rasayani 5. Trees & green infrastructure are a core aesthetic and environmental component of a project. More than 175 trees planted today at our under construction Coastal Terminal at Krishnapatnam port in Andhra Pradesh, one plant by each staff, as part of the #SwachhtaPakhwada activities.

This Project with an estimated cost of Rs. 580 crore is expected to have initial annual throughput of 1 million metric tonnes to meet petrol & diesel demand of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, reducing transportation cost and carbon footprints significantly!

This terminal, which is expected to be commissioned by December’22, is being developed on a land of 100 acre with 1 lakh kilolitres tankage and will receive products form Kochi refinery through ocean tankers.
