@Africa4Wildlife @CWitvrouwen @EastMan333 @paulakahumbu @dendresner @humphreyndegwa Drawing lines and bringing in fences, boundaries, and guns are strategies that haven't worked; we are losing our wildlife because everyday decisions are made without compassion

@Africa4Wildlife @CWitvrouwen @EastMan333 @paulakahumbu @dendresner @humphreyndegwa We believe in conservation that protects wildlife. While we respect Tanzania's sovereignty in addressing conservation, we do not support trophy hunting and advocate for sustainable practices that benefit wildlife and local communities.

Listen to African voices, e.g. Juma G, journalist from Kenya, about #Tanzania: “I came face-to-face with the brutal reality of #TrophyHunting. Tourists are given guns … to shoot #elephants ...” 👇🏾👇🏾

Last week, I visited Kilimanjaro West in Tanzania. I came face-to-face with the brutal reality of trophy hunting. Tourists are given guns and driven around to shoot elephants, then use power saws to cut off their heads to go hang them in their houses abroad! #SaveSuperTuskers

If we are to succeed in building a future for #Africa where #people and #wildlife thrive, we must engage with #youth in meaningful and impactful ways.
We must help everyone recognize that #conservation is more than just about conserving wildlife and habitats; it is about ensuring that the people who live in and around conservation areas have a stake in their future.
It is about creating opportunities for #youth to lead, innovate, and drive change. #Africanconservation

We are excited to have launched our three-day Boys Camp, dedicated to holistic development and conservation education. As Eric Mungai wisely said, 'If we don't do something for boys and men, we would have done nothing for women and girls.'
