The Center for Health and Disease Studies-Nepal (CHDS-Nepal) collaborates with the Department of Biomedical Engineering at SunMoon University on research programs leading to a Ph.D. degree.

This semester, the department is offering exciting opportunities to pursue advanced studies in two pioneering areas: Bio-Big Data Convergence and Synthetic Biology—fields that are at the forefront of transforming healthcare and biomedical research.

Ms. Padma Shrestha is leading an NHRC funded project, "STUDY OF CO-INFECTION OF MALARIA AND DENGUE WITH COVID-19". Outcome of the ongoing study highlights the importance of diagnosis of other endemic tropical diseases and evaluate their possible co-infections along with COVID-19.
