Summary of the findings of the audit:
i. Out of the GH¢68.7 billion submitted for audit, a total of GH¢45.4 billion was validated for payment.
ii. A total of GH¢8.1 billion was rejected for various reasons.
iii. About GH¢1 billion of the outstanding BTAs (which refers to invoices and IPCs processed by MDAs in 2024, approved by Ministry of Finance, submitted to Controller and Accountant Generals’ Department (CAGD) and pending payment) were rejected. This GH¢1 billion that was rejected by the audit would have been paid if the Ministry of Finance had not made a bold decision to stop payments in January 2025.
iv. About GH¢7.1 billion of the outstanding IPCs and invoices (which refers to requests by MDAs for payments to suppliers and contractors and certified for payment by various public officers across the approval hierarchies) have also been rejected.
v. Again, an amount of GH¢13.3 billion is yet to be validated for various reasons.

The jobs which comrades did for free in opposition are now given to known opponents of the JM Campaign at a FEE while comrades are totally ignored - that’s where the issue lies. For example CitiFM journalists now MC virtually all govt programs. Where were they before Jan 7 2025?

I may lose a few friends from this post. Goldbod and Goldbod Jewelry have different MDs. This matter is with the Goldbod Jewelry Ltd. Nana Aba is not supposed to be NDC by force nor must the NDC be the yardstick to benefit from the state-owned organizations. But I'm very surprised someone who doesn't care about NDC and Mahama now cares to be visiting them. “Power and money indeed has many friends”. MDs, CEOs, and Directors have been telling a lot of us that they do not have financial clearance to employ the very people who, by their sweat, got them into those offices. A popular line they use is “I do not have openings” blaming the Finance Minister, YET, you empower neutrals that are organizing programs far away from home with no measured impact. The offices you occupy are for you to bring meaningful prosperity and hope to Ghanaians. This includes the very people you worked with and know very well. As for the financial clearance, if Ato Forson clears 3million slots, you will tell the grassroots the same story. Keep on, we will call you out when the time is right.
