Sewing classes funded with grant from @TNLComFund are in the last month. Students are now able to make bags, file covers and clothing, and more, upcycling waste fabrics, also they repair and re-purpose unwanted clothes.

Thanks for the support for Rotary's Earthquake Appeal. Our street collection raised £540. Together with the previous amounts donated the total raised is well over £2,500. Initial support was for emergency supplies and second phase is support for mainly "accommodation" works.

A great night ... Our annual Quiz in aid of Youth charities raised £1,300 thanks to our popular quizmaster Gary Miles and all the attendees of the quiz.

Croci we planted last year around Cheam Memorial Garden are in bloom. Croci are a good source for pollinators and they are a symbol of End Polio Now. Rotary is 99.9% close to elimination of polio from the world. #endpolionow

Sewing classes funded by a grant from National Lottery Community Fund, continue. Lessons teach sewing, recycling, repurposing old clothes and fabrics and give benefit socially too. Using, repairing and consuming less are effective ways to avoid wasting our planet. @TNLComFund

Our Quiz Night had great attendance and raised £1,300 for our Youth Charities. Our thanks go to Quizmaster Gary Miles and Sutton Grammar School .... not forgetting all of Gary's helpers.

We raised a fantastic £15,100 with our Santa Sleigh and other Xmas activities and distributed the funds to 19 charities and community groups at a Presentation Evening on Zoom. Well done who all concerned and many thanks for the generosity of our community.

Our End Polio Day raffle included a pair of crocus paintings to mark the World Polio Day..crocus is a symbol of the fight against polio.
