People actually believe they care about the islanders 😭. No, this is a form of control that tells me it's true that they changed their contracts. They were upset that they didn't make money off of the fan faves of 7, so now 8 is being punished for it. I bet BTV is forced on them

@TalksWithAli For sure. But it’s both parties. week 1, O fans (some) disliked Trinity due to who she follows, and who she coupled up with. She was called a copy cat…and I’ve seen people who support both get harassed by O fans. Even Nic was harassed by Nicolandrians after he showed support.

Some of these folks have actual careers to go back to. So again, I believe their contracts only covers the main show.

@BeautifulS23120 @RedViolet380 There is no evidence of this beyond fan speculation….And as stated, BTV requires a different time commitment, and also a budget and scheduling. It isn’t even the same production team. You can lock them into an exclusivity contract but forcing BTV on them seems like a stretch.

@Chebadejrf @RedViolet380 No, when you sign for Love Island it clearly states that you’ll also be filming BTV after Love Island. Unlike previous seasons, the contract binds both reality shows. If you refuse BTV, you’ll probably won’t get into Love Island.

I don’t know that you can legally force them to film for an entirely different show. Carl will be back in school, Aniya as well has a corporate job. BTV requires a different contract.

I think the disconnect with the Islanders is that people only view their relationships as 2 extremes, love or hate. I dont think Trinity actually hates Kc she probably just doesn’t care much for him. Same with Melanie and Kenzie, not following back does not mean she hates her lol
