@DontFightDucks Exactly hahaha. Why is your username something you refuse to be called then? You know you can EASILY change your twitch name to exactly what you want to be called.

@CheebaTheHutt My favorite is when they insist you call them something completely different than their username. Like….. no. If you want me to call you that, put it in your username.

Why do some people make their Twitch names something they’re appalled to be called? Especially the first word of it? There’s been a few times now a brand new person will say hi to me in someone’s stream that I’ve never met before (ex: SunshineMotorbike). I’ll say back kindly “Hey Sunshine!” And get: “It’s actually Motor, but thanks.”

@JaxirRaywhisper Exactly hahaha. And it’s just a very poor way to behave on a first interaction! I think later when you kind of get to know the person a little, of course you can say “hey by the way, you can call me this!” “Okay cool!”

@CheebaTheHutt Lot of people are very self centered. To the point they cant even grasp the concept of not everything revolving around them and catering to their every whim. How dare you not knowing upfront how they want to be called???!!!

@JateLIVE Yeah it’s just normally the first name used on average, but I’ll generally scan someone’s name and see what makes the most sense. So if their name is like “TheAmazingDave” I’m obviously gonna call them Dave haha etc.

@CheebaTheHutt I can *kind of* see it when their first word is an adjective, and the noun is afterwards. I'd still assume the first name takes priority, but some get legitimately mad like, "uhg, everyone does that for some reason".
