I was happy to accept the explanation for why Sterling got penalised last week, but not sure why it’s not applied today? No intent, natural position, no opportunity to get it out the way, blocks a shot heading toward goal. Whats the difference?

@adamski152 It’s bizarre. I’ve had people on r/Rangers questioning why I’d have any expectations of winning the league, despite the position we’re in. I don’t understand it tbh, in all my time supporting Rangers I’ve never known us to chuck it when we’re still in the race.

I’m still a little surprised at all the defeatism and talk of managers job being under threat at this stage. Is it just me? It’s not been good enough but there’s so many games left - especially in this season where genuinely every Top 6 split game could probably go either way.

@ibroxrocks The daylight rule doesn’t fix anything for me. Either way, you have to measure it and draw the line somewhere so it doesn’t change much. We’ll just get people complaining they can see a pixel of light between the players that corrupt VAR missed.

For what it's worth, and I'm really not sure it's much, the KMI has noted two more VAR errors in their latest report. The panel voted unanimously that VAR should have recommended Cammy Kerr of Livingston be red carded for DOGSO against Rangers. And they also voted unanimously that VAR should have recommended the red card shown to St.Mirren's Richard King against Motherwell be rescinded. So, that's nice. scottishfa.co.uk/media/14192/29…

@Jas72Boyd What that clearly shows is that Moore was trying to hit a shot. Loses control of the ball because his standing leg is pushed onto the ball due to the foul. For me this is the clearest evidence that it was a red card, because it proves he’d have got a shot off if not for the foul.

I know 95% disagree with me, but its clear from this video, control of the ball was lost at initial tackle & not trailing leg contact. By time the 2nd leg hit him, the balls out of control. 100% not a penalty. 100% Foul outside box Law 12 DOGSO. Defo debateable. Ref = HOWLER !

I don’t know where the confusion is tbh. He’s literally in the act to smashing a shot when he’s taken down, so how are the other defenders going to cover? The initial contact was outside the box, but the tackle doesn’t stop there, he’s wiped him out completely 🤷‍♂️
