There are Tamil people living in Pakistan, and their condition is like that of third-class citizens. After a Sri Lankan Tamil vlogger visited Pakistan, met these Tamil Hindus, and made videos about them, guess what the Pakistani government did? They destroyed their only Mariamman temple. Some naive people from Tamil Nadu will talk about humanity and all sorts of idealistic nonsense for Pakistanis illegally living in India, while Tamils living in Pakistan suffer the worst forms of religious persecution. And you — the voters — remain unbelievably naïve. Your politicians, especially from Tamil Nadu, will never speak a word about this. To them, you are not people. You are just votes — nothing more.

The most frequent question that people ask when we open a new rural area (like our original Tenkasi office) is "where will we get the talent?" or "who will want to work there?" First some raw numbers. Almost anywhere in India, within a 30 km radius, there are at least 0.5 million people, often more than 2 million people - in a rural district! Our average population density of 350 people per sq km ensures this. States like UP have over 1000 people per sq km, so the average rural district has 3+ million people. 1 million rural population in India have about 15K children per year - that many children per year in a 30 km radius district. If we look closely, there is absolutely no shortage of raw talent anywhere in India. The entire entrepreneurial challenge is to find and nurture it. In the context of India and our demographics and our population density, the mantra is "the talent is already there, we just have to find and nurture it". This is so fundamental that I cannot stress it enough. What we look for to start is a couple of experienced people who want to move there for various reasons - may be that is their home, may be they want to serve this cause, may be they want to sign up for a new experience. There are enough such experienced people who are willing to volunteer to move. Whatever the reason, that initial "starting seed" (in crystal growth terminology) of experienced people is needed. Then we grow around them. This is the development trajectory I see for India.
