Some exciting and daunting changes have happened within @ChiefsESC back in November. @Brendypls stepped away from The Chiefs to pursue an opportunity too good to turn down. I want to thank Brendan for giving me the chance to work full-time in esports with Team Bliss & The Chiefs, and for building the foundation of what we see today. With his departure I've stepped into the Chief Operating Officer role - honestly sooner than I ever expected. But it's given me the opportunity to run The Chiefs the way I believe esports organisations should operate, at least here in Australia. I'm so excited to build something amazing. My first priority was bringing on the right people - experienced, passionate individuals who genuinely care about esports. We all know working in Australian esports is often a thankless and payless grind. The team I've assembles isn't here just for The Chiefs, they're here to help shape ANZ esports for years to come. We share a common goal - seeing this region thrive. Please welcome @Damujii_, @AcethemDigital, @Cheeseface92 & @lastfire77. These are the people who'll be bringing you the best version of The Chiefs. Now, about our direction for 2026. The Chiefs has greatness built into it's DNA - that hasn't changed. But how we operate is evolving. We're shifting our focus towards talent development and creating real pathways for our players. Oceanic players have always had massive potential despite being geographically isolated. We've seen our talent exported to NA & EU, competing and winning at the highest level globally. We're going to put our resources towards exactly that - helping players and teams with potential achieve greatness, similar to what we did with our 2024 Bliss roster. We want to give you the tools to unlock your full potential. We will be starting with a select few titles and won't overextend beyond what we can manage effectively. On a personal note, I'm committed to running The Chiefs with transparency. I aim to give more regular updates - unfiltered insight into what's happening behind the scenes. We've operated in the shadows for too long, quietly making the cogs turn. That changes now. If you're a brand that shares our vision for Oceanic esports, let's talk.
