Another reason everyone needs multiple books. Montgomery for instance is -140 at fliff, currently. I got him at -130 yesterday. I’m quite surprised the fanduel line and fliff line has not converged (that means to “come together” like The Beatles wrote about).
And in sports betting everything is about the price. Even if something is a “lock,” the price is still the single biggest factor.

I am a bit surprised they were actually looking at sims. It was stated over and over again throughout WSOP, no solvers at or around the tournament tables.
That was something I was explicitly saying to my own @jakacoaching students in our WhatsApp chat this year: you shouldn’t be using any charts or solver in-between hands, it’s against the rules at WSOP as of this year.
The floor should also make a statement about it when the final table starts so that there isn’t any confusion since it’s a newer rule

Some asking for my take on the laptop situation at WSOP main final table: I was under the impression that it was already against the rules this year Cannot reference solvers or charts during play, only on breaks outside the tournament area I remember hearing that announcement being made several times, so I’m not sure how this doesn’t break that rule Either way, if that wasn’t clear this year it’s something that needs to be prohibited going forward Based on my understanding of the rule, looking at solvers or charts in between hands isn’t allowed Someone else running solves in game and then telling you in between hands… also should not be allowed No one at the table said anything as far as I know, but had they asked the floor for a ruling, I don’t see how they would have been allowed to continue
