CHEK digital building permit

On 16/17 February, TU Delft gathered the consortium partners from all over Europe, to coordinate project activities at first in-person meetings of the EU-funded CHEK project. We had a tight agenda, but great discussions, presentations, workshops and of course, lots of fun.

Today, CHEKdbp Consortium members gathered online to discuss the monthly project progress and preparation of the second in-person meeting in September in Brescia, Italy. Now in its second year, the CHEK project is showing promising results. ✅ chekdbp.eu

The February Monthly Meeting for the EU-funded CHEK project was held yesterday, February 27, 2024, on the Teams platform. We had approximately 30 participants from all consortium partners, discussing the progress of the project as well as addressing open questions.

Second Plenary Meeting 10-11 January 2024 is in progress. CHEK Consortium partners are gathered for the first time this year to summarize the project outcomes so far, to discuss the progress and next activities per all Work Packages.

After months of dedicated and relentless work, CHEK team has published three significant deliverables. Caring for transparency and open access, these deliverables are now publicly available on the CHEK Project website (chekdbp.eu/?page_id=5267).

October Monthly meeting on EU-funded CHEK project is in progress as we entered into the second year on project. We have more than 30 participants from all consortium partners, gathered online on Teams platform, discussing the progress on all 8 Work Packages.

In order to improve BIM and GIS integration, as a part of CHEK project, the 3D Geoinformation research group at TU Delft is developing a BIM Shell Extractor which extracts the outer shell of an IFC file and stores it as a CityJSON model. More info: lnkd.in/dJRn2VFi

Work in progress on CHEK Wiki of Digital Building Permits. It will help the process of upskill/reskill the construction value chain by gathering the multidisciplinary knowledge for better comprehension of the building codes terms important for the building permit process.

The CHEK consortium consists of 18 multidisciplinary and multisectoral coverage entities from 12 countries in Europe. In addition, a strategic Advisory Board and growing Community of Practice members, assists the development and the exploitation of the results.
