Несколько лет назад случилась в Берлине история. Был в городе хостел, большой, удачно расположенный, пользовавшийся спросом, там работало много людей. Но постепенно трудовым коллективом овладела мысль, что его нещадно эксплуатируют. Это было неправдой, но трудовой коллектив уже проникся идеей о гораздо более справедливой системе, которая в первую очередь максимально учитывала бы запросы работников. И стал всё более настойчиво требовать этого у владельцев. Даже случались забастовки. Владельцы в какой-то момент сдались и просто отдали хостел в полное управление работникам - делайте, что хотите. И трудовой коллектив немедленно установил те порядки, которых добивался. Эти порядки, кстати, работники не сами выдумали, они почерпнули идеи у авторитетных и прогрессивных идеологов справедливого распределения. В хостеле всё стало предельно справедливо. Никто не перерабатывал. Никакой эксплуатации. Права всех работников уважались. Ввели дополнительные соцпакеты. Работники были очень довольны и говорили, что они наконец чувствуют отличный баланс между работой и жизнью. Через несколько месяцев прежде успешный хостел вылетел в трубу и закрылся. А довольные работники оказались на улице, без работы и без денег. Потому что с факапами и авралами, которые бывают в любом бизнесе, никто ничего не делал, важно же было не перерабатывать. За возникавшими возможностями никто не гнался, гнаться - это тоже напряжение, а важно же не нарушать баланс. Заработать больше денег никто не стремился, потому что ну это же фи, это так вульгарно - деньги, прибыли, да ещё и напрягаться из-за этого. Кроме того, выяснилось, что постояльцы хотят чистых комнат, а слушать про обеспечение прав работников постояльцы почему-то не хотят. И уж тем более не хотят за это платить. Деньги кончились, случился крах. Коллектив работников, разумеется, обвинил во всём бывших владельцев. Но суть даже не в этом. Суть в том, что это и был современный социализм. Все думали, как избежать эксплуатации, справедливо всё распределить и дать возможность людям удовлетворить свои потребности. А о том, что для этого нужны деньги, что деньги эти надо зарабатывать, а зарабатывать деньги нужно уметь, не думал никто. Социалисты вообще считают зарабатывание денег занятием малопристойным по сравнению с благородной деятельностью по распределению этих самых денег. Вот деньги и кончились. И так при социализме всегда - что в масштабе хостела, что в масштабе страны.
