This is where everything started an insane amount entered in their system, nowhere near the actual value. Thats like around 980k php 😅. The tax I'm goin to pay is calculated from the adjusted value the agent advised me to declare. As in super mura lang naman ng mga pinadala ko.

My package journey… and what a stressful one it was 🫣 So I sent a 5kg package by air, thinking everything would go smoothly like last time. The total value is not that much. Shipping alone already cost me 1,185.5 CNY (around ₱10,300), and then boom… the tax in Korea reached 281,680 KRW 🤭 While trying to fix everything, I found out that the tax-free limit is only up to $150 USD. So if you’re planning to send packages, take this as a heads-up because the tax can get really high. This experience really taught me a lesson. I told myself, maybe I shouldn’t buy items here anymore 🙄 I’ll just do pasabay through friends in Korea. Although, like I mentioned before, my main gift will still be bought there. Because honestly, if I buy here again and send it… I can’t imagine how much the tax will be. It was stressful, confusing, and gave me so much overthinking. But thankfully, there’s already progress now. Lesson learned the hard way but at least everything is okay now. I can finally go back to fangirling in peace… no more stress and no more overthinking.

Last December, I sent a package from here to South Korea and everything went smoothly. This time? Gosh… the stress 😭 This fangirling life really has me experiencing everything for the first time. It’s not even that many items, but the process? So stressful. Yesterday, I got a call and I didn’t understand a thing 😭 good thing they followed up with a text so I could translate it and do what I needed to clear my package in customs here. And then this morning… another message. This time for Korean customs 😭 like hello, it’s not commercial — it’s just gifts! Hays… next time, sa Korea na lahat manggagaling at dun magpapabili.

Excited for his birthday a month from now. I’ve already sent all the gifts I collected for him. Out of everything I’ve given before, this one feels the most special to me. As an introvert, it’s actually my first time going out this year just to buy things (I usually have everything delivered). I also waited for items from other country and spent time searching online for the perfect gifts. I really hope he loves them as much as I loved the whole process of preparing and securing everything.
