Behind the scenes, I’ve also been collecting data on tuatara, crocodilians, and squamates - so far, an additional 800 confident GSD/TSD classifications and 10,000 hatchling sex ratio observations. If those data sound useful to you, let me know!

I’ve just released a new version of ROSIE, now with confident GSD/TSD classifications for 146 turtle species and almost 9,000 hatchling sex ratio observations from nests, incubation experiments, and anything else where hatchlings were sexed. nature.com/articles/s4159…

@Turtle_ecology Yeah! I made a database of GSD/TSD classifications and all the sex ratio data from incubation experiments: nature.com/articles/s4159… And I published on the evolution of TSD patterns: academic.oup.com/evolut/article… There are a lot of chelids without data (afaik) but all so far have GSD!

@Turtle_ecology @JamesUVanDyke Just hopping on this thread since my master’s was looking at TSD/GSD among turtles! I was taking a TSD angle on things, but the oddball GSD species in families that mostly have TSD always interest me, like wood and bog turtles (XY)

It’s still in the population discovery phase, but last year we increased the number of known occupied wetlands from 2 to 6! Double digits is the goal this year.
