To say you don’t do “hair trauma” while trying to force a client into submission about cutting over half their hair off is wild, damaged or not.
Stylist have to realize that sometimes people are actually attached to their hair. If it bothers you that much refer them elsewhere.

There are stylist that will mask a lack of knowledge and willingness to do type 4 hair by belittling a client into thinking their hair is damaged beyond saving.
