You currently need ₦1000 for food from someone who needs ₦10,000 to fix his car, and he is looking up to his friend who needs ₦100,000 for his business. He is asking it from his brother who needs ₦1M to complete his house. His brother, in turn, is asking the bank credit manager for financing of ₦10M to execute a government tender contract for the same government that is requesting a loan of ₦100B from China. Everyone has problems! That ₦100 you are getting from someone is out of sacrifice and love.
Appreciate it!❤️🤝

Whatever you do, don’t ever make the mistake of taking the interest upfront and spending it carelessly, thinking it’s a “gain” or that you’ve cheated the system. It is simply compensation for the value your money will lose over the next eight months. Yes, your ₦1.5M will remain intact, but I promise you, it won't have the same purchasing power then as it does now. I might do a thread on alternatives to help your ₦1.5M work harder for you (if y'all go easy on me), while still focusing strictly on PRESERVING YOUR CAPITAL.

The National Chairman African Democratic Congress (ADC) [Party National Secretariat Address] Abuja, Nigeria Cc: Chairman, ADC Osun State Chapter Enu Odi Ward Chairman, Ward 2 Dear Sir, LETTER OF RESIGNATION FROM THE AFRICAN DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS (ADC) I am writing to formally inform you of my resignation from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) with immediate effect. After careful reflection, I have come to the conclusion that the party’s current direction and values no longer align with my personal principles and political vision. Consequently, I can no longer continue in good conscience. As I move forward, I wish the party success in its future endeavours. Yours faithfully, Fatai Ibrahim, RN, MSN

@Laykay1103 @Usual_suxpekt @ARISEtv @attamakuza They'll simply leave with him too. Our political party landscape isn't built around ideology, at least not for now. Whoever believes in PO should leave the ADC. The ruling party wants all their enemies in one party so they can take them out with meaningless court issues.

But if at all he wanted to leave LP, he shouldn’t have left for ADC where the structure is built around Atiku. Everyone knew Atiku wasn’t ready to step down, why join in the first place? What will be the fate of those prominent politicians who joined ADC because of him? This is a low low for Obi.

Peter Obi
Peter Obi@PeterObi·
Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@Gradient_Sports Who's fault? Arteta should have managed his minutes better. There are players in the Arsenal squad that have barely been used this season. There's a reason why you have a squad of 25 players. It definitely isn't to run some into the ground and barely use others.

Joao Neves would need to play nearly 22 consecutive 90's to reach Rice's time on the pitch in the Premier League this season. Rice has covered 350.3km of total distance and has accelerated almost 900 more times than Neves over the course of the domestic season.

Insider Source: If Obi leave ADC today, it wouldn’t be because of primaries or ticket as Twitter boys are pre-occupied with. It will be that his Legal Team has concluded that ADC case in Court is too uncertain for ALL OPPOSITION to solely rely on.📌 AA & Others Must be careful

@queenify053 Verifying that you receive a transfer is not a "small" verification. Who runs a business by believing the word of a customer that has just walked into your store. Of course you're always supposed to confirm large transactions first, especially for first time customers.

He almost walked away with ₦5 MILLION worth of solar equipment… for free. This happened in our Office last week. A calm, well-dressed guy walks in. No rush. No noise. Very composed. He says he wants a full solar setup: – 3 ACs – Pumping machine We recommend a 15kWh system → ₦4.9M He also added: – CCTV cameras – A solar generator Total hits ₦5M+ No hesitation. Then he says: “I’ve made the transfer.” He even shows a receipt. Everything looked real. But something felt… off. We confirmed the account. No payment. We asked him to wait. He waited. Calm. Patient. One hour later… still nothing. Then he stands up and says: “I’ll come back tomorrow.” That was the last time we saw him. The receipt was fake. And the scary part? If we had rushed or skipped confirmation… we could have lost ₦5M just like that. We have his face on CCTV. But this isn’t even about exposing him. It’s a reminder: Not every calm customer is genuine. Stay sharp. Have you ever experienced something like this?

BREAKING: ADC leaders hold emergency meeting following today's court ruling, which restrained INEC from recognising any state congresses conducted by committees appointed by the David Mark-led leadership. The meeting, which held at ADC National Chairman David Mark's residence, was attended by Atiku, Amaechi, Tambuwal, and other ADC leaders.
