For almost twelve years, we have had the joy and honor to explore the Destiny universe with you all. Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

@AdamJCurtis @DestinyTheGame In positive news, this was my last scan 2 weeks ago. The left pic is from 3 years ago. So we’re getting there

@Chemotherapy_7 @DestinyTheGame Saw you in the Destiny threads. I had a craniotomy last year to biopsy one of many massive tumors. Stage 4 lung cancer in my brain. I've been on targeting meds every since and they've worked miracles! I'm hapy to hear you're doing well. I have NOT lost the weight though. 🤣

@AdamJCurtis @DestinyTheGame The advantage of Brain Cancer over all the others (💀💀💀💀), is how much you forget to eat, plus the chemo, radiation, 100lbs went quick!

@SGVphoto @DestinyTheGame I guess my balls hadn’t dropped yet 🥲

@DestinyTheGame This game got me through 2 rounds of Brain Cancer W’s…hundreds of seizures…and has been the only one I’ve consistently played for 6+ years now…lifelong friends have been made around the world…all bonding while dealing with the speed bumps 🥲

Spencer Pratt reveals his plan to build a privately funded rehabilitation campus in nature.
For a decade, Los Angeles has poured billions into homeless shelters built right next to open drug markets. We put people in beds for two days, and they walk out directly into fentanyl. True rehabilitation requires a change in environment.
Spencer Pratt wants to adopt the "UHP Model" for LA. It is a privately funded framework already working for veterans in Bentonville, Arkansas.
The strategy relies on three strict operating rules:
1. Geographic Separation
You cannot heal addiction on Skid Row. The framework moves individuals out of the urban center to a nature campus, instantly cutting off access to cartel networks.
2. Physical Repair
Recovery is a biological process. The plan bypasses standard shelter food and partners with private health companies to provide targeted nutrients to help the body survive withdrawal.
3. Trade Acquisition
Residents do not graduate back to a tent. They learn specific trades, like brush clearance and professional sanitation. They return to the city with a job.
The past decade proved that taxpayer housing without geographic separation does not work and leads to relapse. Fixing the crisis requires changing the location.
