Mum and dad made it happen (as did the wheelchairs, stairlift, ramp, bed, and spending the rest of the day and today in the dark sleeping & resting).

@kufrekoffi @chakravartiiin Congrats, you dont suffer from mental health problems. Now, could you work on your empathy. The lack of being able too see outside of yourself is a driving factor to sub par help for children with mental illness.

@chakravartiiin It always scares me when I see a tweet like this. It reinforces adults who lacked emotional intelligence to continue their dismissive attitude toward children harbouring genuine empathy and soul. This isn't unusual, plenty of children 10 and younger display the same prominent EQ.

@chakravartiiin My depression (and some other mental health issues) came with the onset of puberty. I knew I had depression and was suicidal since at least 11.
And children are people. Some more mature than you think. I knew what was happening and guessed at why and so did other kids I knew.

Pardon me but how does a ten year old get depressed much less take such an extreme step like this? Do kids even have such emotional capacity at that age? This does not make sense to me at all.
