Because, historically & correctly, women fought for their right to privacy, dignity & separate spaces to be away from men, not the other way round. I do hope that’s cleared up your confusion.

@DreyfusJames James, you're gay. As a heterosexual, I've to undress in single sex spaces in front of people like you who are sexually attracted to my sex. Under the Equality Act, it's harassment as I've no privacy, dignity, safety from this. Your right to watch me undress impinges on my rights

Almost everything this PM says now requires a community note. The electricity price cap is not coming down because the government has managed to produce electricity more cheaply. It’s still the most expensive in the world — and forecast to become even more expensive. The cap is reduced because the government has taken £117-worth of largely green subsidies from fuel your bills and put them on to general taxation. You’re still paying for them — just in a different way. And as your taxes go up to meet these green levies the cap is still £73 higher than when Labour came to power. So your energy bills are not coming down — though Labour promised they would — and the overall tax burden is at a record high. There PM. Sorted it for you.
UK Prime Minister@10DowningStreet

Today the energy price cap has dropped by £117. We said we’d bring energy bills down - we meant it.

It’s not quite the £300 reduction Miliband promised though, is it. And shifting the Renewables Obligation from energy bills to general taxation isn’t a saving, it’s a sleight of hand. Either way, British households still pick up the tab.
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

I promised to bring bills down and I meant it. And today, because of the decisions this Labour government has made, the energy price cap has lowered by £117.

Dr. Dr. P: "No men. No exceptions".@Psychgirl211

Dear X I need your help. As you may know, I was doxed by Fred Wallace who posted my name, picture and partial home address here on X. I made a complaint to the @metpoliceuk and today I was called back by one of their officers. Name: Pc/Officer Humphreys. Badge No. 2417. Based at Lewisham Police Station. @MPSLewisham Officer Humphreys asked what had given rise to the doxing and I told him that I hold the position that men cannot become women. He immediately, without taking a breath said "well, that's transphobic". Officer Humphries then proceeded to harangue me about my 'transphobia' and 'homophobia'. I told him that I was not confident in the way he responded and that I would be reporting him to his superiors. He said "well you won't get anywhere". I then tried to explain to him that being 'transphobic' is not a crime and that gender critical beliefs are protected under the Forstater Ruling. I also told him about the Supreme Court ruling that sex, in law, means biology and not identity. At this point in the conversation, PC Humphreys put the phone down on me. PC Humphreys seemed to have no understanding of his responsibility to act as an impartial public servant. He also seemed unconcerned that I felt threatened and that I and my family could be put at risk by the doxing. His only interest was in berating me for my beliefs. I have made an in-person complaint at Lewisham Police Station and I will be making an appointment to discuss this incident with my MP @JanetDaby We are being failed by a captured police force. @SexMattersOrg @SpeechUnion Please can you Rx this. Thank you. Dr P.

No. Labour inherited a lot of debt in July 2024 because of massive spending during the pandemic — which Labour supported, indeed it wanted more — and post-Ukraine invasion energy subsidies — which Labour supported, indeed it wanted more. The pandemic is no more and energy prices have been falling back. But still Labour has managed to increase debt/borrowing to record levels at a record pace when a prudent government would have started to reduce borrowing. Next question.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our 2021 Thin Blue Paw Outstanding Bravery Award winner, RPD Stark, who served with West Midlands Police and was attacked with a machete in 2020. Stark retired earlier this year and had been supported by the Foundation during his retirement with much-needed hydrotherapy sessions. Following a short illness, Stark passed away in his handler’s arms on 7th December 2025. He will be dearly missed by all at the Foundation, and our thoughts are with Paul, Michelle, and all who loved and adored him. RIP Stark, you may now stand down. 🌈💙🐶🚔🇬🇧

Absolutely fucking love this. Leominster this evening. Here’s a bunch of farmers pimping out their tractors in Christmas decorations and driving through the town to raise money for charity. Farmers give out way more than they ever receive. 🚜🎄
