Man, I'd kill for a DC fighting game not made by NetherRealm. I've got nothing against Injustice, but I want a DC FG that's not so dour.

Tornado just tore through the area I live in. Partner, cat and I are ok thankfully but I guess some buildings got destroyed. Really crazy experience.

@Dragoture I haven't rewatched the movie but it's weird doing a 180 where I used to think that Wanted deserved a more faithful adaptation to "No wait, the deviation was probably way better".

@CheroroPrime God same I’ve had this with a couple things where I’m like “oh no what was I thinking???” But I guess that’s just life and growing up haha.
Also totally agree on Wanted but it will always have some nostalgia for me from reading it with you in New Orleans.

I think rereading Wanted and realizing it's awful did mental damage to me since I now preface every conversation I have about media I haven't seen in like a decade with "Yeah, I liked it a lot but I haven't experienced it in a long time so..."

@Dragoture It's SO good. Hit the ground running. Which is more than I can say for the other Ultimate titles. Not that I'm disliking them, but I'm not excited to pick up the next issues for them like with Spidey.

Went to go pick up the new Ultimate Spiderman issues and found these beauties 40% off. One of my favorite series of all time.

@CheroroPrime Yeeeahhh the Ultimate Spider-Man sold out pretty quickly. I had to settle for a second printing of issue 1.

@LiamAllenMiller Out of curiosity I went to check who developed the game since I didn't remember and was hit with the knowledge that it was a Keiji Inafune designed game and I don't know what to do with this information. Really cool game, I remember thinking the setting was really interesting.

@Dragoture Like, I really felt that the back 3rd of 0079 would have benefited from me having more time with the characters during that time. Lalah in particular was a character I was wishing I'd had more screen time.

@Dragoture I'm about 8 episodes in and enjoying it. It's making me feel like I should have watched the proper OG series instead of the movies though, just because the pacing is so much better. Also every time a mech is on screen I'm just thinking "I need a gunpla of that!"
