I might be close to being that person, as we push toward 5 years of absence. We'll see what June 7th brings us for E-Day. Regardless, real progress is being made on non-Gears content I've wanted to make since like 2018. Either way, content is on the way 🍒

Recently started enabling visibility on comments again Healing is realizing that most people didn't hate my guts, I magnified those who do And finding people (my gf, therapist, and a few friends) that sat with me and pointed at all the comments like this Thank you, everyone 🫂

Question for the Gears community for E-Day If weapon sliding is going to be added in like we saw in the trailer, what are we calling it when you snipe someone mid-slide Mid-roll is either Superman or Spiderman...is this an Iceman? Frozone? Sub Zero? Mr. Freeze? Who else slides?

@the1gunman I hear that. Honestly I'd really like to have both, especially because a barebones mode seems so easy to incorporate. I do have fun on Gears 2, but it also feels dry to me if it's only barebones. I would hope it's not too much to ask TC to give both what they had and what G2 had

@CherryQuench I’ll be honest here the barebones horde was extremely difficult, Memorial was one of the hardest maps as you pretty much had to hold your own, yes it was extremely slow because it was thrown in at the last minute by Epic. I have many fond memories of those games

Ngl this kind of scares me Looking past my emotions and also reading comments, the main issues I see are enemy variety and fortifications reducing creativity / difficulty, which I agree with I just hope popular vote doesn't reduce Horde back to only classless barebones PvE

To me, the buildcrafting with fortifications and classes adds so much depth. It's why I was able to make videos and had room for a lot more. If E-Day is only Horde 1, I don't know what there will be to talk about. Boomshields go here, pick up weapons each wave, aim well

So playing Gears Reloaded on PS5 is a bit of a challenge adjusting, plus I'm casual as all hell But I love that any plays I make usually come from me having zero clue what I'm doing. Nobody can read you if you can't read yourself

Came up with an idea for a video series in 2024 After a year of recording, I am ready to edit. Good news, it's only 1.36TB this time! In 2022 I had 2.45TB of storage...and that was only playing for 3 months and got scrapped from life changes Things are kind of happening!

Last post, but an important one: I apologize for my toxic behavior and how I handled things. That toxicity is a part of me, and so far it's been 2.5 years working through that to be better. Doesn't make up for hurting people in unreasonably, but I'm learning for the next time

And again, thanks to healing and growth, so long as E-Day looks good to go, I have a healthier support system in place. I may not be active on Twitter, Bluesky, Facebook, etc, but if it means taking care of my well-being so the videos keep coming, I got this.
