Happy Birthday to one of the strongest Armenian Grandmasters, a member of the Armenian national team, our good friend and team member Robert Hovhannisyan! 🎉🎂 For those who don't know, Robert is one of ChessMood's coaches and one of the sharpest endgame minds you'll find ♟️ When most players see a lost endgame and resign, he sees an opportunity 🙂 Take a look at one of Robert's epic saves 👇💥 White to play. Note: Robert played h5 two moves ago and it wasn't random 🤫

I don’t get paid to endorse chess products. I like both @chessable and @ChessMood opening courses. But, I prefer chessmood courses because their videos describe every move, whereas chessable videos typically provide overviews. PS. I use lichess studies to track my openings.

Nobody is safe from being the top Minion 😁 Doubled pawns aren't just ugly 😅 they're a permanent weakness your opponent will attack all game. But one smart exchange can fix everything. Once you truly get how important pawn structure is and how to play with pawns, you'll be surprised how much better you get 😉♟️ Our "Silent Strategy" course is unlocked for a few more hours ⏳ Don't miss this chance to finally make your pawns work for you 🤩👇 chessmood.com/course/silent-…

The most important rule while calculating is to check the forcing moves first: 1. Checks 2. Captures 3. Attacking moves or making threats. But are they always the best ones? Nope, they aren't 🙂 There are some moves that prevent the opponent's counterplay/defensive resources. We call them QUIET moves!🤫 Often, you need to find a QUIET move during the calculation. In this position is White to move! Follow these two concepts to find the right continuation: 👉 Start calculation by checking the forcing moves first (checks, captures, threats). 👉 Don't forget about QUIET moves during your calculation. Learn more calculation tips from our "Calclman" course while it's unlocked 🤜🤛 chessmood.com/course/calcula…

#8: Mental Game The game isn't lost after a mistake. Sometimes your mind thinks it is. The mental game matters as much as the board. Right mood, right move!

#7: Calculation You have to calculate in every game. The problem? Position gets blurry in your head. You don't know when to stop thinking. Miss one move, loss. With the right tips, calculation becomes clear and your struggles disappear.
