Many of us see this moment not as a crisis, but as a chance to finally confront the force behind so much destruction in Iran and across the Middle East. The IRGC has drained Iran’s resources to fund ideological war, repression, and violence, then shamelessly tries to play the victim. When my family manage to contact me and get around the #DigitalBlackoutIran imposed by the IRGC, they say only one thing: we are not afraid of war, we are afraid this war will end and the IRGC will still be here. That is the reality people need to understand. Proscribing the IRGC is not only about protecting Britain, it is about recognising who has been driving terror, repression, and instability for years.

The government must finally proscribe the IRGC as terrorists. Antisemitism and those who fuel it have no place in our society.
