Most chess players under 1000 don’t lose because of openings. They lose because they:
• hang pieces
• miss checks, captures, and threats
• move too fast I’ve created some training material called Thinking Moves™ under @promotingqueens to help U1000 players slow their thinking during training. Currently running a beta test (starting with U300 & U700). Training use only ; not for rated games. Comment “Thinking Moves” if you’re interested in testing and giving feedback.
