Jesus is alive! Today, too, he walks in our midst, changes us and sets us free. Thanks to him, evil has been robbed of its power; failure can no longer hold us back from starting anew; and death has become a passage to the stirrings of new life.

Unfortunately one of our students Emmanuel Chikwa is currently missing. We are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and Cheshire Police have asked for our help to ask all staff and students if they may have seen Emmanuel since last Sunday. bit.ly/3DA3zFC

Consistent #prayer produces progressive transformation, makes us strong in times of tribulation, gives us the grace to be supported by Him who loves us and always protects us.

Do not judge, Christ tells us. How many times do we not only pass along gossip or rumours, but consider ourselves justified when we are harsh in our judgement of others. We can be indulgent with ourselves, but inflexible with others.

The experience of encounter changes us and it frequently suggests new ways we never thought of taking. This is how God so often points out new paths. Everything changes once we are capable of genuine encounters with Him and with one another. #Synod #ListeningChurch

#GuardianAngels help us in our lives and show us where we need to go. Our angel is the daily bridge to our encounter with the Father.

Life is a gift, and when it is long it is a privilege. The “wealth of many years” is a wealth in terms of the persons themselves, their experience and history. #IDOP2021

Do not look the other way at the suffering of your brothers and sisters deprived of freedom and dignity, victims of contemporary slavery. Let us ask #OurLadyOfRansom to help us work together to break their chains and give them back a dignified life.

#SaintPioOfPietrelcina devoted his whole life to prayer and patient listening to his brothers, on whose suffering he poured out the love of Christ as a balm. Imitating his heroic example, may we also become instruments of God’s love for the weakest.
