Today is #NationalAsparagusDay & marks the start of the asparagus season. Who loves these lean green beauties? I certainly do, I’m definitely a fine stem girl though. What about you? Do any of you grow it? If I had time for an allotment I think most of it would be asparagus beds.

Today is #earthday. What does this mean to you? For me it is a real reminder of how we need to examine or lives and constantly be aware of how we effect our planet. From looking at the amount of #waste we produce & how we dispose of it, to the #carbonfootprint we are creating.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family today with the sad news on the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh. Rest in Peace, Prince Phillip. You had an extraordinary life and touched many hearts. ❤️

@carpe_fing_diem Awww so sorry for your loss. It’s natural to grieve, a dog is our best friend and companion and will be a huge hole in your life. When you are ready do get another. I’m sure you miss the walks and the company. Sending hugs.

My lovely dog died around Christmas time. She was only seven and after the divorce there was only the two of us. I feel as a sporting man that I should have a stiff upper lip and just get on. I really miss my dog.

Last week we donated a massive 70 gifts to #NHS workers. To say thank you for their hard work & determination during this awful time of Covid. Each gift had a message of support from a customer. I also made a poster of messages which will go in their staff rooms. Well done NHS.
