Good work by y12 this afternoon

Well done to all the Y11 students on their GCSE results! In Science, we had 55% of grades 9-7 and 90% of grades 9-4, with 11 students getting the top 99 grade.

Great to see some of the Y12 and Y13 biologists leading a dissection session for the Y6s today. They were all brilliant!

Well done to all the Y11 students on their GCSE results! In Science, a fantastic total of 27 Grade 9s and 8s from the group overall, as well as a 90% 9-4 pass rate. Great to see so many signed up to continue their Science (and Music obv) journey onto A-level. See you all soon!

Really good lecture on humanitarian medicine with the 6th form and a few y11 today. Prof @anthonydredmond with some really interesting insight and stories. As Abe Lincoln was mentioned, we came back via Lincoln Sq to see his statue and letter to people of Mcr!

Looking at how diffusion rates change with temp with the y12 today to give them an intro into calorimetry. (tea)bags of fun ...

Full day helping out the @Geog_Chethams Y11 field trip to the Lakes today. Wonderful to relax after at the amazing Castlehead FSC. As first week of term, we have the place to ourselves!
