For those curious about the Garrick Higgo penalty and how it works:
If you have a 7:18 a.m. tee time, you're officially "late" at 7:18:01 (not 7:19:00)
at 7:23:00 you're DQ'd and they go to the first alternate
@freewilllyyyy The problem is the sand in there is pretty firm and shallow. Maybe they soften it and add sand for the tournament, but it was hard to open the face and swing hard because you would bounce into the ball. With a more closed club face to pick it, it is hard to elevate high enough.
Observation: it may be a tall lip, but the reason people don't get over it is usually ball speed, not launch angle.
Also, call me crazy but has anyone tried ripping 6 iron into the face and seeing what happens? There's gotta be a club that does the trick
@mummmbles@doglegpar3 If it is a reverse negative wouldn’t the clubs in the bag look Left Handed? They look right handed which is the opposite of the swing.
