Why do AI-antis think we're too broke to afford commissioned art? Commissioned art should not take 3 to 5 months to finish and to get to paying customers and the way artist treat customers is dog shit. That is why we turn to AI for art. It's faster and doesn't treat us like shit because of what we believe in.

i bought a model. i stream video games. people come to my stream to see interesting games and listen to me yap. i’m not paying $100+ for a piece of art i have to wait six weeks or longer for, assuming i even get it, just so i can make a funny little shitpost. “what’s the point of being a vtuber?” is a subjective question, but i personally don’t do it to line artists’ pockets. i do it to express myself however the fuck i want. people who don’t understand why others use ai remind me of people on horseback shaking their fists at cars as they drive past.
