My high school season came to an end this week, and I'm so proud of the growth I had in the circle this year. If you’re not training with a plan, you’re just going through the motions. Workouts have no purpose without a plan. Every session I train with intention, everything I do is built specifically for me as a pitcher. One day I might focus on power, strength, and stability, while another day might be dedicated to arm care and recovery. Today’s workout: Cardio/Explosiveness: • 15 x 100ft sprints • 10 min elliptical Lower Body: • 10 squats (45lb) x3 • Lunges (15lb each side) x2 each leg • Glute bridges (banded) x3 Upper Body (with 15lb dumbbells): • Bicep curls x2 each arm • Bent over rows x2 each arm • Upright rows x2 each arm Core: • 15 Leg raises x3 • 10 Dead bugs x3 • 1 min plank x2 Every rep has a purpose.
