So this tweet is the most sorry-not-sorry tweet I’ve seen, and it just keeps making things 10x worse. Because you never once apologized to him, you only apologized to people for saying it, but not to him for saying it to him.
Also, your wording clearly shows that you’re only saying sorry because of the backlash, not because you truly are sorry. It’s clear in the wording because all you seem to talk about is how you still think he’s a piece of shit, which just shows how petty you are about the whole thing.
You also seem to only want to say it because you want to look like you are the better person, but it’s clear from the meaning that you’re trying to act like you’re better, only to then go, “Well, I’m better and he’s a piece of shit.” It’s petty and not a real apology.
The drama was funny when it was just pointing out that it sounded like you had sex on stream, but this just feels like watching a car crash in slow motion because you’re digging yourself deeper.

I was ready to genuinely take this to the ground because of the idea that “why should i ever feel bad being rude to someone who’s a piece of shit”. After some reflection, the thought occurred to me, “do i really want to go as low as him though?” and the answer was no. I said what I said because I personally think there is no scenario that a friend group chooses the side of a fiancé that cheats. I can’t even fathom friends siding with a cheater. However, would I have brought it up if I knew he was suicidal because of it? no. I admitted it in the previous tweets so why didn’t I apologize? “because he’s this and that and blah” but I thought about it and that kinda ideology is quite harmful. I knew it was wrong and I admitted that twice but I didn’t apologize So after reflection, I am sorry. I’m sorry for bringing up a memory that made someone suicidal. It was a low blow even if I didn’t know regardless of whether he was intentionally being a piece of shit. I don’t want to stoop to his level. I rather be better and learn from my mistakes 🧡

Deme, the best thing you could have done was just move on. You didn't apologize in the first place, so doing it now comes across as disingenuous, especially after you doubled down.
I get that you want to put all of this behind you, but you made a bad decision, chose to double down and now saying sorry won't work. You should have honestly just said nothing more, muted it and move on.
Even if chibi accepted the apology, the twitter mob wouldnt because you can never please them they won't let it die or let you move on easily, they'll just keep using it against you.
Even if you did apologize after the initial situation I still think people would have kept hounding you. All this escalated from bad decisions after a tweet that just needed a better explanation.
