Our inaugural Battle of the Locals tournament is underway! We've got 36 players representing 13 stores.

All other aspects of the tournament, including prizing structure, remain the same.

After Swiss rounds are complete, the top 8 players will move on to single elimination, regardless of store. This matches the TCG Single Day structure found in the Play! Pokémon Tournament Rules Handbook, and allows for an even playing field for all players.

Important update for tomorrow's Battle of the Locals tournament! After player feedback, the transition from Swiss to Single Elimination will be a normal top cut, not the highest-placing player from each store as originally communicated.

* 7pm: TCG Throwback Tournament - Hop in our time machine and play the 2016 format (XY-STS)! Decks will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own if you have one. Sign up at the prize wall starting at 6:30pm!

We'll also be hosting two special tournaments: * 6pm: VGC Random Rentals Tournament - Play with a random team each round! You’ll need your own Nintendo Switch and a copy of Scarlet/Violet, but no premade team is required. Sign up at the prize wall starting at 5:30pm!
