The @CPDKnights held its first City-Wide Youth Baseball Classic in Humboldt Park this past weekend. The tournament was more than just a fun weekend of baseball. It was an opportunity for community members to connect with each other and members of the Chicago Police Department.

The 22nd Annual Cycle Across Illinois concluded on its 320-mile journey at Public Safety Headquarters on Sunday. Riders completed their route from Edwardsville to Chicago in honor of Illinois law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.

Members of the Bureau of Detectives Family Liaison Office participated in the @CEDACookCo 2026 Energy Services Staff and Partner Intake Training to discuss the resources they offer to those affected by violence.

As the Windy City Smokeout and Taste of Chicago are underway, Chicago Police officers will be visible and present throughout the festivities to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attending. If you need emergency assistance, notify a nearby officer or call 911.

The Chicago Police Department’s Office of Victim Services held an Emergency Assistance Center yesterday at The Sankofa Village Wellness Center in West Garfield Park for community members affected by violence. More than 100 attendees were offered support and resources, including crime victim compensation and domestic violence support.

The Chicago Police Department and community partners canvassed the Garfield Park neighborhood today to inform residents about Wednesday's Emergency Assistance Center at The Sankofa Village Wellness Center. Anyone affected by violence is invited to attend between 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.
