FF/EMT Michael Altman of Truck Co. 47 was injured yesterday while fighting a residential fire in the Rogers Park neighborhood. Today, FF/EMT Altman succumbed to his injuries. We are asking for prayers for the entire Altman family & the CFD family during this trying time.

The Chicago Police Department commemorates #WomensHistoryMonth by honoring our first female police officer, Marie Owens, who was also the first policewoman in the US. She joined CPD in 1891 and dedicated over 30 years of service to the department before retiring in 1923.
