🚨 GAME BREAKING / EXCLUSIVE: The biggest infinity GP dupe of all time just hit RS3/OSRS. A new infinity item duplication glitch allowed players to spawn an astonishing 2,147M of any item such as Partyhats and Christmas Crackers. As a consequence, GIM banking has been disabled and anticheat wiped out many player banks, even those not involved in the exploit. Bug abuse groups exploited vulnerabilities to transfer rare items into Ironmen banks. Then they likely used group storage to deposit items while simultaneously closing the client. This resulted in items being duplicated, remaining in both the group storage and the player's inventory. The abuse has now been patched, but a terrible response from Jagex Anticheat wiped out banks from regular players who ended up touching any of the duped items in regular trades.
